Project Information

This premier development is located approximately 1.25 miles east of Interstate 25 on Lohman Avenue. Anchors within South Fork Village include: MountainView Regional Medical Center, Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico, Advanced Care Hospital of Southern New Mexico, The Imaging Center of Las Cruces Radiology, Texas Oncology and Allstate National Call Center. The reported number of employees for the anchors within South Fork Village is +/- 1,200 people. This number does not include patients and patient families. The major roadways through South Fork Village are Roadrunner Parkway (arterial), Lohman Avenue (arterial) and Sonoma Ranch Boulevard (arterial). Sonoma Ranch Boulevard is currently under construction from Highway 70 to Lohman Avenue and expected to be complete by September 2008. Development in the immediate area has been explosive and includes: Sonoma Ranch Golf Course, 1,200+ apartment/condo units, numerous restaurants, retailers and office developments. All utilities, zoning and major roadways are in place.

South Fork Village is located in the fastest growth area of Southern New Mexico.  Projects within 1 mile of this subdivision include: Mesilla Valley Mall, Target, Home Depot, OfficeMax, Albertsons, Wal-Mart Supercenter and Sonoma Ranch Golf Course.  Las Cruces is experiencing a massive amount of growth. A 2007 subdivision study shows over 72,152 residential home sites in the planning process within East Mesa.
